About this Event
Every business starts somewhere. So does community.
Welcome to NXT Collective—a new space for Calgary’s small business owners and those quietly thinking, “I could start something.” We’re bringing people together to share ideas, learn from each other, and enjoy an evening without the pressure to pitch or impress. Come be part of the beginning.
Maybe you’re making products at your kitchen table, packing up for another market, or running a small service business and wondering where your next customer will come from. I’ve been there—working hard on the business while trying to figure out how to grow it. Let’s help you reach more people who would love to buy from you.
You’ve probably wondered whether things like online ads could help you reach more people interested in what you’re selling. And if you haven’t, that’s okay too. It’s just one of a few ideas we’ll explore to help you grow your business. Let’s talk through how it works, where to start, and what your next step could look like.
We’ll sprinkle in 2–3 short talks—and we do mean short—with practical ideas for your business, or the one you’ve been thinking about starting. Then it’s back to the conversations.
Enjoy complimentary charcuterie and light background music, with plenty of time to mingle between talks. Come on your own or bring a friend; you don’t need an established business or a polished idea to join us.
