In this hands-on course, you’ll learn the foundational skills needed to decorate a beautiful, personalised cake using fondant and delicate sugar flowers. Whether you’re preparing for a birthday, anniversary, or other special occasion, this course will guide you through the rewarding process of crafting a cake that’s both visually stunning and full of heart.
Starting with the basics, you'll make your own modelling paste and learn to create elegant frangipani, roses, and leaves. As the course progresses, you’ll bring your creations to life by colouring your flowers, covering your cake in smooth fondant, and mastering the finishing touches.
In the final session, you’ll assemble your cake – adding your handmade flowers, a ribbon, and a personalised greeting. By the end, you’ll not only have a beautiful cake to be proud of but also the skills and confidence to decorate for any future special event.
This course runs for 4 weeks x 2.5 hours.
