About this Event
Ready for a trip to the Moon?
Join us at White Rabbit’s Books for a special event with Caeley Looney — aerospace engineer, author, and founder of Reinvented Inc. — as she presents her debut children’s book, Charlie’s Space Adventures: Mission to the Moon.
Inspired by Caeley’s real-life adventures with her beloved service dog, Charlie, the book takes young readers on an exciting journey through space filled with friendship, bravery, curiosity, and discovery.
In the story, Cate and her loyal dog Charlie set off on a mission around the Moon. Together, they explore the mysteries of space, face their fears, and discover something every young scientist should know: asking questions is where science, engineering, and exploration begin!
And the story behind the book is just as remarkable as the adventure itself. Caeley is a real-life rocket scientist who has spent nearly a decade working in the aerospace industry on projects ranging from small satellites to lunar landers and deep-space missions. Charlie accompanied her along the way — to the Kennedy Space Center, mission control rooms, rocket launches, and more. Their extraordinary friendship eventually became the inspiration for this book.
At White Rabbit’s, Caeley will introduce Charlie’s Space Adventures: Mission to the Moon, read from the book, talk about space, rockets, science, and what it’s really like to be an aerospace engineer, and answer questions from our young guests.
A wonderful event for curious kids who love space, science, dogs, adventures — or simply asking lots and lots of questions!
Books will be available for purchase, and Caeley will be happy to sign copies after the presentation.
Admission is free, but registration is required. Our space is small and seating is limited, so please register in advance to make sure you have a spot!
