Up next at PFT!Following the success of SEASONS OF CHANGE in 2025 and LA VIE EN ROSE in 2024, we are thrilled to bring another original work to the PFT stage.
CABARET 1900: A CENTURY OF MUSIC, MIRTH, AND MEMORY will play at the McLean County Arts Center October 15-18. Performances are at 7:30 pm Thursday through Saturday, with a matinee at 3:00 pm on Sunday.
This intimate revue takes audiences on a fast-moving journey through the twentieth century using song, satire, and storytelling. From elegant turn-of-the-century charm to wartime wit and late-century reflection, four performers bring history to life with humor, heart, and unforgettable music.
The production is conceived and directed by Pat Gaik, recently seen in PFT’s JOSEPH and as the titular baker in last season’s THE BAKER’S WIFE. He will be joined on stage by PFT alums Lucas Suchor (JOSEPH) and Katherine Cosenza Starr (JOSEPH and BAKER’S WIFE). Joining them will be two PFT newcomers: soprano Nevaeh Bos, and Musical Director, Arranger and Accompanist Nadia Jensen, both exciting young talents. And, direct from the phenomenal pit band for PFT’s JOSEPH, Grant Souder will also be joining the company on bass.
Opal Virtue will be costume consultant, Kenny Prince is the sound designer with lighting by Bob Mangialardi, who is also serving as Producer.
Seating at the Arts Center will be cabaret-style, and is extremely limited. There will also be a cash bar available and complimentary nibbles at the tables.
