On November 1st, bring your Halloween pumpkins to the Byron Linear Tramway Park (along the pathway between Island Park Drive and Clarendon Avenue). Come back after dark to walk a path of glowing pumpkins. Candles will be provided, but extra tea lights always appreciated. If you can light your own pumpkin when you arrive, that would be fantastic!
When you bring your pumpkin, please look for gaps to fill between Island Park and Granville. Pumpkins often end up crowded around the side streets when there is plenty of room for them in between.
Please do not leave your pumpkins outside of the designated event space (Island Park to Clarendon) unless you can light them yourself and remove them the next day. This is a volunteer run event and the clean up effort is significant. Your help in keeping it contained to a manageable space is very much appreciated!!
Volunteers needed for the evening event and morning after clean up. (High school students can get their volunteer hours.)
Event sponsored by the Kitchissippi Ward.
Everyone is welcome! Please help spread the word.
