About this Event
The Address Book is the first public chapter of Byron Design Week — a gathering created to make visible the people, practices and ideas already shaping creative life across the region.
Centred in the Banksia Drive Creative Precinct, the evening will unfold across a small network of venues, bringing together curated presentations of local designers, artists and makers, and a forum featuring voices from across the Byron creative community.
Byron Design Week is being built as an evolving cultural platform for design, architecture, art, making and material practice, grounded in participation, trust and the belief that the Northern Rivers’ creative identity should be shaped by the people already contributing to it.
The wider programme will unfold across three stages: The Address Book in late 2026; a curated Northern Rivers presence at Melbourne Design Week in May 2027; and the inaugural multi-day Byron Design Week in late 2027.
The Northern Rivers is home to one of regional Australia’s most distinctive creative communities. This first event begins by bringing its people, practices and ideas into clearer view.
