💡 What have you lost?A pair of keys? A favourite jumper? A childhood dream? Someone you miss?
From everyday mishaps to memories that stay with us, the things we lose can tell powerful stories.
Join us at Hounslow Youth Centre for a free creative workshop introducing By the Light of Our Losses, a participatory art project by artists idontloveyouanymore, with Watermans.
📅 Monday 16 November 2026
🕠 5:30–7:30 pm
📍 Hounslow Youth Centre, Kingsley Road, TW3 1QA
🎟️ FREE ENTRY — all materials provided
👨👩👧👦 Everyone welcome: adults, children and families!
During the workshop, you’ll discover the project and learn how you can take part in creating a light installation. Explore what loss means to you and find out how to add your own contribution to an anonymous digital map of lost things.
Your contribution might be funny, ordinary, heartfelt or deeply personal. There are no wrong answers.
Selected losses collected in Hounslow will become glowing lightbulbs, each inscribed with something someone has lost. These will form an installation at The Weir in Brentford, with additional lights appearing in other spaces around the town.
✨ Come along, bring your family or a friend, and help shape an artwork that connects our community through shared experiences.
The free installation will be on display at The Weir, 24 Market Place, Brentford TW8 8EQ, from 30 January to 21 February 2027.
