Buyers host the tables. Canadian suppliers come to them.
Supply chains are being redrawn, and Canadian organizations are looking harder at where they buy. But capable Ontario businesses in the $5M–$60M range still have no affordable way to reach the buyers who need them — and conventional trade show booth fees are part of the reason.
So we removed the cost. This event is free for buyers and suppliers alike, presented as a community service by Small & Mighty, the City of Markham and BDC.
How it works
At a conventional trade show, suppliers pay for booths and hope the right buyer walks past. Here, it's reversed: procurement teams sit at the tables, and suppliers rotate to them in timed intervals throughout the morning. Suppliers are screened in advance and matched to the categories buyers have told us they want to fill.
