This workshop session establishes the core foundation for valuation decision – making. Participants will be introduced to essential concepts such as business structures, capital tables, management accounts readiness, and pre – money versus post – money valuation. The session then shifts to an investor perspective, exploring how investors assess startups at different stages and how these approaches apply within the Brunei context.
The session also focuses on building investor – ready financial forecasts. Participants build logic-driven forecasts while identifying assumptions most likely challenged by investors.
