Join NJSBDC at William Paterson University for Business Plan in a Day, a free, fully interactive workshop that takes you from idea to a working one-page business plan. We'll walk through a condensed version of the SBA business plan framework together, covering your mission, your market, how you stand out, and the numbers behind your first year. You'll do the work in the room, with guidance along the way, so you walk out with something real in hand.

- Your Business Foundation: Define your mission and what your business is really about.
- Your Target Customer: Get clear on who you serve and what sets you apart from the competition.
- Your First-Year Numbers: Build a realistic snapshot of startup costs, pricing, and break-even.

Aspiring entrepreneurs and early-stage small business owners in Passaic and Union counties who have an idea but haven't yet put it on paper.

Parking:
There is no free parking at the building, and street parking isn't recommended. Two nearby options:
- Option 1: 37 Caldwell Pl, Elizabeth, NJ 07202 (enter via Caldwell Place). Lower rate, a bit farther walk.
- Option 2: Midtown Garage Lot 5, 30 W Grand St, Elizabeth, NJ 07201 (enter via Grand Avenue). Higher rate, closer to the building.
