Devthon 7.0 is the flagship development-focused event of the BUP Development Leaders' Club (BUP DLC), dedicated to empowering young minds to address real-world development challenges through innovation, research, policy discourse, and sustainable solutions. Bringing together students from universities across Bangladesh, Devthon 7.0 provides a dynamic platform for learning, collaboration, leadership, and meaningful impact through Case Competition, DevTalk, a Development Career Expo and a Short Documentary Competition.Development Case Competition
This flagship social case-solving segment emphasises undergraduate and graduate (regular) students to create a team of 3-4 members to participate in this event. Cross-university participation of group members is also encouraged. The first round will be conducted online, and teams will get a social case regarding development.
A case will be provided to the registered teams. Only 12 Teams will move to the semi-final from the first round. 6 finalists will be selected from semi-final round.
Eligibility: Undergraduate student (cross-university teams are allowed)

Development Short Documentary Competition
This flagship short documentary segment encourages undergraduate and graduate (regular) students to create a team of 3-4 members to participate in this event. Cross-university participation of group members is also encouraged. Participants will produce a short documentary highlighting a pressing development issue in Bangladesh while presenting innovative and sustainable solutions through visual storytelling.
Submission Guidelines:
Teams must submit an original short documentary based on the provided theme and guidelines. The top 6 teams will be recognized as finalists and invited for the final presentation and screening.
Eligibility: Undergraduate students (cross-university teams are allowed)
