🥖 Buns for a Cause! A Bread Fundraiser for The Neighbors' Place!Caleb and I have been working on something new, and we're so excited to finally share it with everyone!
We've started a little bread business called Buns on the Run, and we thought what better way to introduce it to the community than by doing a fundraiser for a great local organization!

We'll be selling our homemade artisan bread rolls, and 25% of all sales will go directly to The Neighbors' Place!
We recently had the opportunity to play music at their Empty Bowls fundraiser, and we wanted to find another way to support all the wonderful things they do for our community.
» For those who aren't familiar with The Neighbors' Place, they're a local nonprofit that helps individuals and families in need throughout north central Wisconsin. They provide food through their community food pantry, diapers and other baby essentials, and resources to help people get back on their feet. They help feed over 400 households every week! It's pretty amazing what they do for our community, and we're excited to continue to support them!
🥖 So what is Buns on the Run?
It's our new little artisan bread DELIVERY business! Yes, you heard that right!
Growing up in the Netherlands, I loved being able to stop at the grocery store or bakery and grab fresh bread rolls for lunch, dinner, or just to dip into something yummy. It's something I've missed living here, so we decided to bring a little bit of that Dutch inspiration to Wausau!
We're making fresh artisan bread rolls with SIMPLE ingredients, and the best part is that we'll deliver them right to your doorstep! Kind of like the old-fashioned milk delivery service, but with fresh bread instead.
Our rolls are great for breakfast, school lunches, sandwiches, dipping into soups or spreads, or just eating with some butter.
We've been having lots of fun experimenting with different flavors, and we'll have four options available at the fundraiser!
»Classic Artisan - Simple, savory, and goes with just about anything!
»Chocolate Brown Sugar - A little sweet, with chocolate chips and brown sugar mixed right into the dough. So yummy for breakfast!
»Cheddar Jalapeño - Cheesy with a little kick!
»Asiago & Black Pepper - A delicious savory combination with lots of flavor!
We'll be selling them in batches of 5 small batch artistan rolls for $8-$10, and 25% from every batch will go to The Neighbors' Place!
We're still figuring out the exact location and time, but we're hoping to partner with a local bar or restaurant in Wausau and have everything set up sometime after church on Sunday.

We're really excited to get Buns on the Run started, and even more excited that we can use it to give back to our community.
