Join us for the launch of BUNJIL x Mr Simple Bag Collaboration.Months ago, we got together with Bundjalung and Gunditjmara artist Mitchell Francis to explore what we could create together. We landed on bags.
The result is six individually hand painted bags, telling stories of Country, waterways and the night sky. Mitchell has spent days and days painting them, working through the challenges of an unfamiliar surface to make each one an artwork.
Meet Mitchell, hear the stories behind the collection and see his original canvas artworks, also available to purchase. One hand painted bag will be up for grabs in a giveaway.
Bags will be available to purchase on the night via mrsimple.com.au for $650 each. A portion of sales will support a charity chosen by Mitchell.
