BCB's biggest education event of the year is back - and this time it's a full weekend.
Join us October 17-18 for an all-weekend rabbit health education event at our Long Beach-Viking location. Whether you are a new rabbit parent or a seasoned one, this weekend is designed to give you the tools, knowledge, and hands-on skills to keep your rabbit healthy - and know what to do when something goes wrong.

Day 1 - Saturday, October 17
10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Preview of classes:
- First Aid
- Bloat vs. Stasis
- Head Tilt (advanced - must have taken First Aid + Bloat v. Stasis)
- First Aid Practicum
- Disabled + Senior Rabbit Care (advanced - must have taken First Aid Practicum) with Jody Springborn of Educated Rabbit
Day 2 - Sunday, October 18: Holistic Day
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Preview of classes:
- Back to Basics: Forage
- Forage for Prevention (advanced)
- Acupuncture Demo with Dr. Erika Budde, DVM

Pricing
Classes start at $25. Day and weekend passes available. First aid kit + add-ons available for purchase starting at $60. Full pricing tiers coming soon.
Health Requirements
Attending rabbits must be RHDV-2 vaccinated. All other small pets require a current wellness certificate.

What (+ who) to Bring
Your Rabbit (Optional): You're welcome to bring your rabbit for the practicum session to practice health assessment techniques on your own bunny (half-day staycation boarding is available for purchase; is included in the vib pass)
Notebook + Pen: Take notes throughout the day
Questions: Come prepared with specific health concerns or scenarios you want to discuss
Emergency Kit (if you have one): For review and feedback during the first aid class
Water + Snacks: Stay hydrated and energized throughout the day (light snacks and refreshments will be available)
