About this Event
“Buko" meaning "coconut" in Tagalog, encapsulates the vibe of Buko Boys, a sun-kissed group hailing from Miami, FL with roots from the Philippines. Steeped in anime-inspired themes, they coined their one-of-a-kind sound as “alt-rock/R&B.” They continue to tour nationally, riding their internet success, while making waves in the thriving South Florida music scene.
Good News! is a New York City-based indie rock band known for their self-described brand of “rain jacket rock.” Built around the songwriting of frontman Lucas Cohen, the band brings together guitar-driven indie rock with the distinctive textures of keyboards, violin, saxophone, bass, and drums. The current lineup features Cohen on lead vocals and guitar, Jonah Kreitner on keyboards, violin, and backing vocals, Cole Menchel on drums, Matt Hannon on bass, and Conor Sobieri on the Saxophone.
