Creative Leadership for HR Leaders
About this Event

In a world of relentless change, HR leaders are uniquely positioned to ignite transformation—not through policy alone, but through human-centered leadership, creativity, and courage. In this lively, interactive, and engaging experience, globally recognized leadership consultant invites HR professionals to step beyond traditional thinking and explore bold new approaches to leadership.

The session begins with fast, brain-opening creative exercises designed to shift participants out of routine thought patterns into “possibility thinking”. From there, we’ll take a candid look at the most common reasons that teams fail. We will also visit the “dark side” of organizational dynamics, where assumptions replace facts, trust erodes, and innovation stalls. Surprisingly, visiting the dark side makes the LIGHT side much easier to imagine!

Then comes the leap forward.

Through an engaging “News from the Future” exercise, participants imagine—and design—a future where HR leaders are catalysts for thriving organizational cultures. Together, we’ll explore how HR can inspire confidence, build psychological safety, foster the trust that allows teams to do their best work, and create environments where people and organizations flourish.

Participants will leave energized with fresh perspectives on their HR role, practical ideas for cultivating trust and psychological safety, and other ideas to positively transform their organizations.

Our speaker for this session is , M.S.Physics, BS Chemistry & Physics. Kimberly Wiefling is a global business leadership consultant known for transforming organizations, teams, and leaders through practical, humancentered approaches. A physicist by training, she quickly discovered that even the best technologies fail without the “touchy-feely” human skills that drive real success.

With deep experience across the U.S., Europe, and Asia—especially within culturally diverse Japanese organizations—Kimberly specializes in turning groups of people into high-performing teams capable of achieving what once seemed “impossible.” Her background in R&D, complex systems, and program leadership at companies ranging from Silicon Valley startups to HP and Xerox PARC spinoffs gives her a unique systems-thinking lens for solving tough business challenges.

Kimberly speaks internationally on leadership, project management, communication, innovation, and corporate sustainability. Her signature approach blends project management and design thinking to help organizations “innovate on purpose” and turn common sense into common practice.
