About this Event
Non-profit executive director will give a presentation on building a resource center near the Kedzie stop at the pink line. The center will be named for Harriet Tubman and Frida Kahlo. The center will provide many resources, classes, and workshops for people. It will also house employment projects for adults with autism, and for formerly incarcerated. Plus, there will be many storefronts for small business entrepreneurs, conference/meeting room, a vegan cafe/art gallery/performance stage, after school program for kids, weekly entertainment for adults, work training program for youth, and art studios. There will be a rooftop garden and meditation/yoga garden.
