Join Thierry Lye from the New Glasgow Society for a virtual walk across Glasgow, identifying currently derelict buildings.
About this Event

The Derelict Glasgow walk started in 2022 as part of the New Glasgow Society's exhibition of the same title. With reference to Building At Risk Register Scotland, Thierry will draw attention to former glory of these listed buildings, make comparison to its current state and shed light on their future plans, if any. All audience are invited to 'evaluate' conditions of these buildings based on photographs, and vote on risk level associated to each specific building. Do you think you have a pair of eagle eyes?

Thierry Lye is the past chairperson of the New Glasgow Society, and currently one of the longest serving committee members. Drawing from his professional knowledge as a Principal Architect at Mott MacDonald, Thierry is passionate about the retrofitting and reviving heritage buildings in Glasgow.
