About this Event
Create gingerbread houses with a strong air-drying clay that will last for Christmases to come! You can also make wee gingerbread people to live inside. But just don't eat them.
Build your very own miniature gingerbread house using air-drying clay. We'll use a selection of gingerbread house cutters and simple modelling techniques to create the walls, roofs and little decorative details before bringing everything together to build your festive little home.
You'll have plenty of room to experiment with different shapes, designs and details to make your house completely unique. Once finished, your creation will be left to dry, ready for its next transformation!
Come back in a fortnight's time to paint your creations!
This event runs as part of Glasgow Life's Be Well Programme.
Be Well is a local Glasgow Life community programme offering opportunities to get involved, meet people, try new activities and enjoy spending time with others in your community.
You'll get plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits in a warm friendly space.
Based at Castlemilk Community Centre, Be Well provides a welcoming space to connect with others, discover new interests and take part in activities that support your health and wellbeing every other Wednesday 11.30am - 12.30pm.
Whether you're looking to try something creative, learn a new skill, get out of the house or simply enjoy a bit of company, Be Well is a place to get involved and give something new a go.
These sessions are delivered by trained artists from Stravaig Creative Arts.
