About this Event
Start the new year with a peaceful heart and positive intentions.
Buddhist meditation is a practice open to everyone and can help you find inner calm, develop a positive perspective, and build resilience in everyday life.
In these classes, you will learn how to develop a meditation habit through guided meditations and simple, practical instructions. Each class also includes a short talk on how Buddhist philosophy can be applied to help us stay positive when facing everyday challenges.
Each session includes two guided meditations and a practical talk on a weekly topic, followed by time for Q&A. All classes are self-contained, so you are welcome to join at any time. No previous experience is required.
The classes are held in the peaceful, friendly, and comfortable surroundings of the Carrot Common - Room 212 Meeting Space.
