Turn a slab of clay into a mug that is completely your own.
Join us at Red Chair Farm in Canby for a relaxed, beginner-friendly Claydate where you’ll create a tall 16oz mug from start to finish. I’ll guide you step-by-step through building your mug, adding texture and details, and choosing a finish that makes it feel like yours.
No pottery experience? Perfect. This class is designed for people who want to try something creative without needing to already know what they’re doing.
Come with a friend, bring your mom, plan a date, or come on your own. Claydates are about more than making pottery, they’re a chance to slow down, laugh, connect and leave saying, “I can’t believe I made that.”

- Professional firing and finishing of your planter
- Your completed piece ready for pickup approximately 3 weeks later
You’re also welcome to bring a small texture that you’d love to press into your clay: lace, leaves, fabric, stamps or another favorite pattern. Totally optional; I’ll have plenty to choose from.
Wear comfortable clothes and come ready to get your hands in clay. Everything else is provided.
