Do you have secondary school aged children (11-17) that love music and collaborating with other young people? Do they need something creative during the October Week???Join Jamie Welsh & Erin Hephzibah, two of eight Frank’s House members (local Paisley band) as they take the kids through a 4 day intensive workshop to BUILD A BAND!
Day 1 will focus on meeting each other and getting a sense of everyone’s instrument knowledge, from there we will form our bands based on how many participants we get we might have one big band or 2 or 3 smaller ones!
Day 2 and 3 are focused on writing and rehearsal. Making sure we are performance ready! Somewhere in there we will also have a band logo exercise where the bands will create their own logos!
Day 4 is all about the performance which will be at THE BUNGALOW! Not only is The Bungalow an amazing stage but there is plenty of room for friends and family to come and support!
All skill levels are welcome BUT instrument knowledge is valuable, writing skills are amazing and loud voices are always helpful! But don’t worry because Jamie and Erin will be there to support your kids through the workshop and hopefully help them find their LOUD VOICES!
If you are interested please message Erin Hephzibah, Jamie Welsh or contact Bricklane Music Academy directly about booking!
We have limited spaces - get in now to confirm your child’s slot!
