BuffaLove: A Burlesque Love Letter to the City of Good Neighbors
Join The Lavender Revue and special guest performers for a night of Buffalo-inspired burlesque celebrating the food, landmarks, legends, teams, and Buffalo pride that make the Queen City what it is. Expect sexy, campy, and heartfelt performances, local vendors, and audience games!
Come early for our pre-show market beginning at 7PM, featuring local vendors and a winter clothing drive benefiting @friendsofnightpeople. We’ll be collecting new adult socks and gloves throughout the evening. Donations will earn raffle tickets for a chance to win a BUFFALOVE raffle basket featuring goodies from The Lavender Revue and our community raffle sponsors.
The show begins at 8:30PM, featuring Buffalo-inspired performances from The Lavender Revue alongside special guest performers to be announced.
We’re also bringing audience participation back! If you enjoyed the tassel-twirling contest at Tarot and Tease, get ready for Queen City Tease! Audience volunteers will choose a Buffalo-themed prop and use it to give us their sexiest short performance. No experience required. Just confidence and commitment to the bit.
And because this is Buffalo, obviously there’s a wing-eating contest. We’ll be judging for speed, technique, and, of course, who can get that bone the cleanest. Interpret “technique” however you’d like because we definitely will.
