We’re introducing a different kind of league-wide softball training experience—one inspired by D1 college softball programs, adapted appropriately for players ages 10U–16U.
These sessions are designed to be highly structured, fast-paced, challenging and educational. Players should come ready to work, learn, push themselves and compete.
Our goal isn't simply to run drills. We want to teach players how to train with purpose and apply what they learn when it's time to compete.
TEACH IT. SPEED IT UP. REP IT. COMPETE WITH IT.
Players can expect position fundamentals, high-repetition drills, fast-paced station rotations, throwing and fielding development, baserunning and athletic movement, age-specific instruction, situational softball, teamwork, communication and competition.
We'll also mix in competitive games and challenges such as the Bay State Gauntlet, Throwing Accuracy Ladder, Clean Hands Relay, Speed Relays, Bunt/Defend/Advance challenges, situational competitions and more.

Players will have opportunities to earn tickets throughout TRAIN TO COMPETE for effort, attitude, improvement, skill challenges, competition wins, communication and being a great teammate.
Tickets will give players opportunities to win prizes including softball equipment, gift cards and more!
💵 JUST $2 PER PLAYER — AND IT GOES BACK TO THE GIRLS!
The $2 participation fee isn't intended to generate a profit from the program. Proceeds will go toward an end-of-year event for the girls.
They're not only investing in becoming better softball players—they're helping build something for themselves and their teammates to enjoy together at the end of the year.
🥎 OPEN TO EVERYONE — EVEN IF YOU DON'T PLAY FOR BAY STATE!
One of the most important parts of these sessions is that you do NOT have to currently play for Bay State Girls Softball to participate.
Players from ANY softball league are welcome to attend once or twice and experience BSGS TRAIN TO COMPETE for themselves.
Come experience our coaching style. See the pace and structure of the training. Meet our players and coaches. Compete. Have fun. And see where Bay State Girls Softball is heading.
There is no requirement to immediately register with Bay State just to try the program. Players outside BSGS may attend an Open Training Session once or twice before needing to register with Bay State to continue participating in future sessions.
We want players and families to have an opportunity to experience what we're building first.
