Celebrate National Children’s Dental Health Month at Pilgrim Christian Day School with fun, practical tips to help your child build healthy habits and a smile for life!
Parents and children are invited to join us for a fun, informative, and family-friendly conversation about building healthy smiles that can last a lifetime.
Dr. Francis A. Morgan, DDS, an award-winning pediatric dentist serving children and families at Anchors Point Pediatric Dentistry in Edgewater, Maryland, will present “Brushing the Teeth You Want to Keep: Healthy Smiles for Kids.”
Dr. Morgan will share practical, easy-to-understand information to help parents support their children's oral health while helping young people understand why taking care of their teeth is so important.
Families will learn about:
- Why baby teeth matter and should not be neglected
- What causes cavities and what happens when a cavity develops
- How sugar can hide in everyday foods, snacks, and drinks
- Choosing healthier snacks and beverages for strong teeth
- Proper brushing and flossing techniques
