Taff Rocks would love to invite unpaid carers to a FREE day of creativity, fun and self-care - because you deserve a little time to switch off, get messy and do something just for yourself!
No artistic experience needed. Absolutely no pressure to be “good at art”. Just come along, have a go and enjoy some creative time with lovely people.
What will we be getting up to?
- Watercolours – play with colour and create something beautiful
- Neurographics – a wonderfully relaxing and mindful way to create
- Squeegee Art – because sometimes the best art happens when you stop worrying about making it perfect!
There'll be plenty of encouragement, creativity and opportunities to simply switch off from the caring role for a while.

Being a carer can mean putting your own needs at the bottom of a very long list. So, for a few hours, forget the washing, the appointments, the responsibilities and the “Mum/Dad/partner, where's my…?” questions.
Come and grab a paintbrush instead!
Spaces are limited, so booking is essential.
We can't promise you'll leave as the next Picasso… but we can promise creative fun, a buffet, a little gift and hopefully a few hours where you get to be you, rather than everyone's carer.
** What is an unpaid carer?
An unpaid carer who is a friend or relative is someone who provides care, help or support to another person without being paid for doing so - with or without any Carer's Allowance benefit.
This could include helping someone who has a disability, illness, mental health condition, addiction, or who needs extra support because of age.
