One of the most popular events in the Parties for the Park series, Brunswick Stew & Soulful Tunes returns for another afternoon of hearty food, live music, fire pits, and fall fun.
Each ticket includes a piping hot bowl of Brunswick stew with cornbread, with a hearty vegetarian option available, plus one pint of beer for adults. Non-alcoholic beverages and additional drinks will also be available for purchase.
This year’s musical lineup brings local talent to the Bull McCabe’s beer garden, with performances by Sunday Night Rice and aRe wE theM. Fire pits will be set up throughout the space, creating cozy spots to gather with friends, and s’mores kits will be available for those who want to finish the afternoon around the fire.
Two seatings will help keep lines short and give everyone plenty of room to settle in, eat, listen to music, and enjoy the afternoon.
Local student volunteers from Duke University and Durham School of the Arts contribute their time and energy to help make this fundraiser possible. Over the years, Brunswick Stew & Soulful Tunes has welcomed more than 1,000 Durhamites and raised more than $30,000 for Durham Central Park.
