About this Event
Returning to Care: World AIDS Day Brunch & Workshop
Join SHAPE Tri-County on December 5 for a free community gathering in recognition of World AIDS Day 2026 and Charleston’s theme, Returning to Care.
This event brings together people living with HIV (PLHIV), communities affected by HIV, advocates, healthcare and social service providers, and community members for a day of connection, conversation, and collective action. Enjoy a community brunch, hear from guest speakers, and participate in an interactive workshop exploring how we can reduce stigma, strengthen support systems, and build a more connected, compassionate community.
Whether you are personally affected by HIV, work in public health or community services, or want to learn how to be a better ally, you are welcome here. This is a space to share experiences, build relationships, and explore what returning to care can look like for ourselves and our communities.
