Give yourself an hour to slow down, step outside, and enjoy some music in the middle of your week.The Northeast Louisiana Arts Council’s Brown Bag Concert Series continues Wednesday, October 14, from noon–1 PM at Palace Park in downtown Monroe with Southern Grace.
Featuring Rhonda Black, Donna McLaughlin, and Cathy Hutto, Southern Grace is a familiar favorite throughout Northeast Louisiana, known for smooth harmonies, beautiful solo vocals, and music filled with encouragement and spirit. The trio performs regularly at churches, theaters, and other venues throughout the region and was recognized as NELA Music’s 2024 Worship Group of the Year.
Bring your lunch, lawn chair, or picnic blanket and settle in for an uplifting hour outdoors. A limited number of $6 Newk’s box lunches will also be available for purchase on site.
Brown Bag Concerts are FREE and open to the public.
