Broome County Department of Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce the 11th Annual Scarecrow Display Contest, to take place at Otsiningo Park in the Town of Dickinson, October 1-23, 2026.Individuals, families, businesses, clubs, groups and organizations may enter for a chance to win prizes. Entry is FREE of charge for this event.
Visit https://broomecountyny.gov/parks/events/scarecrowcontest for entry form. Entry forms are due by September 24, 2026.
Scarecrows must be completed and set up at the Otsiningo Park between September 26th- September 30th.
Vote for your favorite scarecrow by visiting Otsiningo Park and cast your vote at the voting station!!! Voting begins 10/1/26-10/23/26.
Winners will be announced October 6th!
