About this Event
Yes. I’d make the value clearer, remove repeated details, and use $25 everywhere. Since BKLYN Commons hasn’t confirmed a date and said it no longer hosts weekend collaborations, I’ve left the date as a placeholder.
Write, connect, and hear something worth putting your phone down for
Give yourself 4 hours to make space for your writing, meet other creatives, and experience an open mic with The Art Meetup.
Join us at BKLYN Commons for a writers’ development workshop, an open mic, and a community clothing drive. Bring a notebook or writing device. You’re welcome to take part in the workshop and listen during the open mic without performing.
You don’t need to be an experienced writer, have a portfolio, or know exactly what you want to create. Come as you are and spend an afternoon around people making room for their creativity.
