Bronwyn is a Grammy-winning artist and two-time IBMA “Fiddle Player of the Year” who has spent her career establishing herself as one of the leading voices in bluegrass, Americana, and roots music. For her third album, Rattlin’ Bones, she stepped outside her comfort zone to embrace songwriting and create material designed specifically for her live show. Her debut album, Fiddler’s Pastime (2020), showcased her instrumental mastery, while I Built A World (2024) introduced audiences to her powerful vocal style. With Rattlin’ Bones, Bronwyn fully embraces her identity as a singer, songwriter, fiddle player, and bandleader. Backed by an exceptional ensemble of Nashville musicians, including mandolinist Tristan Scroggins, banjoist Frank Evans, bassist Larry Cook, and guitarist Grant Dresnok, she captures the energy and chemistry of her live performances. The album was co-produced by Bronwyn and Brent Truitt and features an impressive lineup of Music City talent, including Jerry Douglas, Bryan Sutton, Darrell Scott, and Dominick Leslie.
Bronwyn’s evolution as a vocalist was heavily influenced by her time with Americana and bluegrass powerhouse Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, where she was encouraged to lean into her voice and explore a new side of her artistry. Following the group’s amicable dissolution, she seized the opportunity to pursue her own creative vision and launch her solo band. Onstage, Bronwyn brings a relaxed confidence and infectious energy, blending her virtuosic fiddle playing with her increasingly distinctive vocals and songwriting.
At the heart of Rattlin’ Bones is Bronwyn’s desire to create music that feels authentic, exciting, and alive. After years of following her path as a fiddler, she now embraces the freedom to create music that is deeply personal and meaningful to her.
