Join us for Transit Appreciation Day, an annual celebration designed to showcase the Bristol Tennessee Transit System as both a convenient and cost-effective travel method. All rides aboard Bristol Tennessee Transit fixed-route buses will be free that day and a community celebration will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Downtown Center, 810 State Street, to recognize frequent passengers and transit drivers, and to encourage others to ride the bus. The celebration will include a free hamburger and hotdog lunch, door prizes, and an opportunity to meet the City officials who oversee the transit system.
