Don’t come alone. That’s the only rule.
We’ve arrived. We’ve built whole lives and we know who we are, and none of that makes us less curious about what’s still possible.
This year we sat down with men and women over fifty, strangers across the country, and asked how love actually finds people at this stage of life. Almost every one of them was already being helped by somebody who loved them. A daughter. A colleague. A friend who took matters into her own hands. Not one of them had a name for it.
On November 10th we’ll talk about what they told me, and where it all leads.
Come for the conversation. You’ll leave knowing something you didn’t, in a room full of people who believe that love at this stage of life is not a luxury. It’s part of how we stay well.
And bring someone who loves you. Your sister, your best friend, your grown son, the neighbor who knows everybody. Book two seats, one for each of you. By the end of the evening you’ll both understand why.
Come with curiosity, an open heart, and a little more laughter. We’re serious about love. We’re not too serious about ourselves.
$45 per person covers the food, tax and gratuity at beautiful Amelia's Restaurant in Stoughton. They offer a warm and inviting ambiance coupled with excellent food choices including: lollipop lamb chops, crab rangoon, arancini, stuffed mushrooms, Philly cheesesteak egg rolls, and two kinds of specialty pizza - port poached fig and prosciutto and margherita.
Beverages are not included. Servers are assigned to our room, so you can order whatever you’d like without leaving your chair.
Doors at 5:45. Parking is ample and easy. We'll be together from six to eight with time to eat, talk, share and open new possibilities to love after 50.
Love has no expiration date.
