BRING BACK THE HYMNS comes to the PW Enns Concert Hall on Saturday, October 17.
Harvest Christian Fellowship presents a benefit concert with international violin sensation Rosemary Siemens and her family.
Rosemary has performed four times at New York's Carnegie Hall and was the first violinist ever to perform in the Sistine Chapel at the Vatican since its inception in 1483. She has played in over 25 countries and 40 U.S. states, for two U.S. Presidents and Canadian Prime Ministers, and won Country Gospel Album of the Year at Canada's Gospel Music Awards. Today she leads a global movement to Bring Back the Hymns through the #1 hymn channel on YouTube, with more than 700,000 subscribers and over 200 million views in every corner of the world.
This concert is that movement live and in person.
Rosemary is joined by her husband, JUNO-nominated saxophonist Eli Bennett, together as the acclaimed duo SaxAndViolin, along with their young sons and Rosemary's parents. Grandparents, parents and grandchildren on one stage, playing the hymns that have been handed down through their family for generations.
Expect an evening that travels from Carnegie Hall to the Vatican, from the Colosseum to the Grand Ole Opry and back home to a Manitoba church pew. Timeless hymns, inspirational classics, and the stories behind them, including how gospel music shaped Rosemary's life and continues to touch people around the world.
