Get ready to groove once again—Bring Back The Funk Vol.2 is here, and this time we're turning the spotlight onto community, connection, and culture. More than a battle, Vol.2 is a funk family reunion—a space for lockers, waackers, poppers, and groove lovers to come together, exchange, and celebrate the music that moves us.

Whether you're stepping onto the floor to compete, coming to vibe and support, or simply want to reconnect with the funk community, this edition is all about strengthening the bonds that keep our scene alive.

🎤 Hosting this gathering are the ever-charismatic Cathia and Jason, bringing the energy, the laughs, and the vibes to keep the day flowing smoothly.

🎶 On the decks, Optimus Funk returns, serving up a strictly funk and disco soundtrack to keep bodies grooving and spirits high from start to finish.

This year, we’re keeping the categories focused, groovy, and community‑driven:

This year, we’re shifting the focus toward connection and cross‑style exchange. To create more opportunities for dancers of different backgrounds to shine, the prelim and battle structure has been refreshed:

Prelims will be separated by style groups so every dancer gets to shine in their own lane.
After each style finishes their prelim:

• 8 dancers will be selected from each style
• These dancers will enter a 1v1 qualifying battle
• They will battle within their style category to earn their spot in the next stage

From the style battles:

• 4 dancers from each style will be chosen to advance into the Top 16

They will join our battle guests:

• Eli – Vol.1 Champion
• Louise – Vol.1 Champion
• Jade – Vol.1 Champion
• + 1 secret guest, picked by the judges

These special guests represent excellence, energy, and continuity from Vol.1 to Vol.2.

After the Top 16 showcase their best:

• 8 dancers will be chosen to enter our high‑energy, hype‑filled
  🟡 Final 7‑to‑Smoke!

Expect fast exchanges, big personalities, and a whole lot of soul.
