We are excited to run our first event where we will bring our Global Mobility & Business Travel communities together!
About this Event

We are excited to invite you to a special Movers & Shakers event on Tuesday, 21 April 2026, where for the first time ever we will bring together our Global Mobility & Business Travel communities for an evening of insights, networking, and discussion.

As many organisations are seeing these functions increasingly converge, this event will explore how the two worlds can work more closely together to manage risk, compliance and the evolving realities of global work.

The evening will be kindly hosted by Blick Rothenberg at The Fable, Holborn Viaduct EC1A 2NB, with support from VisaDoc & Topia.

Alongside plenty of time to mingle with peers and colleagues in a relaxed setting, we will also hear short insights (20 minutes) from industry experts:

  • David Livitt, Global Mobility Partner at Blick Rothenberg, will provide a brief update on the OECD’s latest remote work guidance and its implications for organisations managing business travellers. He will focus on the practical steps required to address emerging multi‑tax risks and the priority actions that help organisations stay compliant, reinforce governance and bridge the gap between business travel and global mobility.
  • James Tomlin, CEO & Founder of VisaDoc, will explore the historic disconnect between Business Travel and Global Mobility. He will discuss why these functions evolved in silos, the operational and compliance risks this creates for global employers, and what a more integrated operating model could look like as organisations rethink travel, immigration, tax and compliance as a single ecosystem.
  • Charlie Dyer, VP, Topia, will explore how organisations make decisions about moving talent across borders and why these decisions are often made with limited visibility into cost, compliance and policy implications. He will discuss how earlier insight and better data can help HR, mobility and business leaders evaluate options more confidently, enabling mobility teams to play a more strategic advisory role rather than reacting once a move request has already been made.
  • We will close with dynamic insights from industry leaders Linda Bekoe and Carol Fergus, who will challenge us to rethink how Global Travel and Mobility are transforming the way organisations move people and business forward.

As always, Movers & Shakers events are designed to create space for conversation, collaboration and connection across our industry. We are excited to also provide an educational element to this event.
