About this Event
FROM THE CREATOR OF CANMORE’S BELOVED JOY TO THE WORLD COMES AN ALL-NEW HOLIDAY CABARET
For years, Bridget Ryan’s Joy to the World has been a much-loved Christmas tradition in Canmore, playing to sold-out audiences who return year after year for Bridget’s unmistakable mix of music, storytelling, laughter and completely unpredictable cabaret.
This Christmas, she’s shaking things up.
Bridget Ryan’s Christmas Party Cabaret is a brand-new show packed with great music, outrageous stories, spontaneous moments, sing-alongs and all the joyful chaos of a really good Christmas party. With Morgan McKee at the piano and a rockin’ live band, Bridget invites audiences into the kind of evening she does best: intimate, hilarious, musical and completely connected to the people in the room.
A veteran cabaret performer whose career began in the legendary rooms of New York City, Bridget has spent decades performing across Canada and the United States. Her connection with Bow Valley audiences has become something particularly special. Her cabarets regularly sell out at Carter-Ryan, and following a sold-out performance at the Banff Centre, this new show will also travel to The Arden Theatre.
Expect Christmas favourites alongside unexpected songs, stories that may go slightly off the rails, surprise moments and plenty of reasons to laugh. No two nights with Bridget are ever exactly alike, and that is very much part of the fun.
Warm, irreverent and bursting with personality, Bridget Ryan’s Christmas Party Cabaret is a new holiday celebration from a performer Canmore audiences have made part of their Christmas tradition.
Come for the music. Stay for the stories. Leave feeling like you were part of the party.
