Brian Gerald Bulger is a singer-songwriter and author from Kansas City, Missouri. Brian is known for his honest, gut-punch storytelling, using vivid imagery of his past experiences. Since 2015, Bulger has been writing and releasing music independently, often leaning on the talents of close friends who play and produce his songs. He has traveled all over the country opening for acts such as Hudson Freeman, Mitt Romney, and Guinevere Goodwin. In January of 2026, Bulger released his first book: a memoir told in fragments such as songs, poems, and short stories. In it, Bulger recounts his hyper-religious, sheltered upbringing and the loss of two of his nine siblings. The book was released in tandem with a five-song EP of the same name, Thank God I'm Far From Heaven.
