Join Brew Hike and Summat on Sunday 18th October for an 8 km wellness walk around Bakewell and beyond. As part of the Peak District Brew Hike weekend
Meet new like-minded people, get out in the beautiful District in autumn colour, and finish and start the walk with a fantastic coffee. What's not to love?
🥾THE WALK:
Difficulty: This route is suitable for beginners. We’re not heading up any mountains, but there are some climbs and descents, so a basic level of fitness is recommended.
We encourage everyone to stay together throughout the walk so nobody is left behind. It is a looped walk starting and finishing at Summat in Bakewell, around 8 km long, and will take around 2.5hrs
What to bring: Comfortable/grippy footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, water and anything else you normally need for an 8 km walk. A waterproof jacket is recommended, especially at this time of year.
☕️THE COFFEE:
We are so pleased to be teaming up with one of the best coffee shops in the Peak District, Summat, who will be providing amazing coffee (at 10% off with a ticket) and even flapjack bites fo the road! If you fancy taking a coffee with you on the walk, consider bringing a reusable flask.
Tickets are £2. Spaces are limited to 20, so reserve your spot today!

🍼 Can I bring a Pram? - Unfortunately. No, this route is too steep and uneven for prams
We can’t wait for you to join us; it’s a chance to slow down, meet new people, and enjoy some fresh air together on a Saturday morning and enjoy the colours of autumn.
Paid walk, why? I’ve kept Brew Hike events free where I can, but organising these walks takes a fair bit of time and expense, especially when we’re heading further afield like this one in the Peak District. From planning and researching the route, finding great independent coffee shops, organising discounts and coordinating everything behind the scenes, there’s a lot that goes into making these events happen. The small £2 event fee simply helps cover some of those costs and allows me to keep putting on more Brew Hike events.
