Brent Butt grew up in Tisdale, Saskatchewan, discovering early on that comedy was his way to stand out as the youngest of seven kids. After quickly rising through the stand‑up ranks, he became a national favourite, earning major awards and appearing on stages and TV networks across North America. He went on to create and star in the hit Canadian sitcom Corner Gas, which became an international success and later expanded into a feature film and an animated series. Today, Brent continues to tour, write, and entertain audiences nationwide, including celebrating the bestselling release of his debut novel HUGE.
