🎻 Nyland House Concert with Brenda McMorrow & special guest Katie Wise

We are absolutely thrilled to be welcoming the warm and wonderful Brenda McMorrow to our little concert series.

Brenda McMorrow blends Sanskrit Mantra and Kirtan with acoustic folk, world rhythms, Spanish Medicine songs and heartfelt English lyrics to create music that is both uplifting and deeply soulful. She has shared stages with Snatam Kaur, Deva Premal, Krishna Das, Jai Uttal, David Newman, Mirabai Ceiba and many more.
Yoga Journal praises her “knack for expressing the deepest realizations in the sparsest lyrics,” while Ram Dass simply said, “Brenda has a gift.”
Katie Wise , Colorado based singer-songwriter, Kirtan artist and beloved voice coach will be offering some of her music alongside her lovely friend, Brenda.
Suggested donation: $20-$40
As always, no one will be turned away for lack of funds. We truly want everyone who wants to be there to feel welcome.
Bring a snack to share if you’d like, settle into a beautiful fall evening, and come enjoy live music in one of the sweetest listening rooms around.
Doors 6:30pm. Music at 7:00. Light snack potluck.
Logistics:
Park in the main lot, or parallel park heading back down Nyland Way. The common house is the big building right at the end of the Nyland Way turn-around circle. Event is on the middle floor of the common house (up the first set of stairs).
