About this Event
Located in the Windsor Room at The Maven Hotel.
Join us for a collective breathwork session led by a certified breathwork and meditation facilitator, Katie. Our work together will begin with a short breathwork session (10-15 minutes). This will allow you to release emotions, turn off your thinking brain and enter a more relaxed meditation, where you can connect to your higher self.
No prior breathwork experience necessary, come and discover with us!
Breathwork combined with crystal singing bowls will help you:
- Reduce stress, anxiety and depression
- Strengthen your lungs and boost your immune system
- Heal trauma and emotions stored in the body
- Explore expanded states of consciousness
- Boost your intuition
I recommend:
- Not eating heavy meals 1 hour before
- Wearing comfortable clothes
- Bring yoga mat, blanket
- Arriving at least 5 minutes before the session to get settled in
Breathwork can result in an intense physical and emotional release. Breathwork is not recommended if you are pregnant or experiencing high or abnormal blood pressure, cardiovascular problems, history of aneurysms, epilepsy or history of seizures , severe psychiatric symptoms, bipolar depression, osteoporosis, recent surgery, glaucoma. Persons with asthma should bring their inhaler and consult with their healthcare professional prior to doing breathwork.
Please arrive on time as doors will be locked so we can honor and create a sacred space, no late arrivals. No refund or credit will be given if you are not able to attend without giving at least 24 hours notice.
