About this Event

The Faculty of Arts and Humanities is delighted to collaborate with John Hansard Gallery on a special screening of Breaking Patterns, followed by a panel discussion hosted by Pascal Matthias, Associate Vice-President for EDI and Social Justice.

The panel discussion will explore themes of identity and belonging, while celebrating the influence of Black creatives on the fashion industry.“This event offers a valuable opportunity to experience a compelling documentary that brings together themes of identity, creativity, heritage and representation. The panel discussion lead by Pascal Matthias, will explore these themes further, drawing on a range of individual perspectives and lived experiences to open up rich and thought-provoking conversation” Professor Yasmin Sekhon Dhillon (Associate Dean EDI)
