Angelic Troublemakers Assemble (& spread some queer schmear)!Join us once again at our monthly
Welcomin' the Community FREE Breakfast
at beautiful BRCSJ HQ
This mornin' even more meaningful & this event even more extraordinary as we will warmly welcome very special guest New Jersey Department of Health Commissioner Dr. Raynard Washington, powerful partner to us organizationally at our nonprofit Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice & stalwart ally to our greater Queer Community as a whole!
Since takin' office, our courageous new Commish has proven himself a true "angelic troublemaker" epitomizin' the words of our namesake Black LGBTQIA+ & Civil Rights Pioneer Bayard Rustin, "The proof that one truly believes is in action".
He not only “speaks truth to power” but also does the WORK to back it up!
So come out this day & every First Friday from 8-10 AM to our beautiful breakfast buffet first inspired by the Black Panther Party People’s Free Food Program & now has become a delightful tradition here in Princeton since we started it over eight years ago!
Whether you are a cherished old chum or stalwart new ally, we would really dig to see you again or indeed for the first time along with our new fab friend Raynard & his terrific team as well as our whole magnificent menagerie here at the Center, & whilst yer at it, grab a fresh bagel, a delish vegan treat, & some tasty coffee (donated by our friends at Starbucks!) to start a beautiful day in Beloved Community…
The mornin' light here is quite the radiant glimmer & we dare say, even mayhaps inspirational, so please come & share some warmth with us~
All are welcomed
All are loved
All are served hot coffee & warm bagels…
Gather together to make our dedicated Queer Safe-Space even more welcomin’, our events even more extraordinary, our programs even more powerful, our initiatives even more inspirational, in recognition of, respect for, & indeed LOVE to all our fabulous friends, our awesome allies, & our chosen fam, & most importantly~ YOU!
Come out to our courageous community activist Center & expansive educational bridge for all our LGBTQIA+ youth & seniors, our intersectional families, & all our beautifully diverse folx across that all-inclusive rainbow spectrum, & learn more about the good works of the people we strive to do herein each & every day.
