Join us for a Unite homeschool story time, featuring a Brave book! These books are written from a conservative world view and feature lovely stories which are encouraging and supportive of the views you are teaching your children.
We'll begin with reading the book as a group and then have games and a craft that reinforce the topic. These stories are written to be age appropriate for any child, with the option of deeper follow-up discussion with mom or dad for older children.
Our October story will be "A town worth Defending" in which a raccoon named Rowdy reaches the end of his rope when he tries to defend Dirt Creek from a posse of possums. But, as Rowdy and the rest of Dirt Creek lose their will to protect their town, Team BRAVE jumps in to help them out. Join Rowdy, Valor, and Eva as they defend Dirt Creek and learn about patriotism with your family by completing the BRAVE Challenge at the end of the book.
Story time will include games and activities focused on reinforcing the truth we learn about in the story. Come join Team Brave!
This event is free to the community and open to all homeschoolers of any age (Target age for the book is 5-12) - Invite your Homeschool Friends!
