TRAVELING TO BRATISLAVA 🚌🚂✈️
Thanks to its location in Central Europe, Bratislava is very easily accessible by train, bus, car, and plane.
✈️ BY PLANE - 3 OPTIONS ✈️
✈️1. The local Bratislava M. R. Štefánik Airport (BTS).
Located only 15–20 minutes from the city center, which handles low-cost carriers like Ryanair, Wizz Air, and Smartwings.
___________________________________________
As an alternative, many travellers choose to fly into neighbouring Vienna (VIE) - OFTEN A BETTER CHOICE!
Located just 55 km away, as there are often more flight frequencies and easy bus/train transfers.
✈️2. Vienna-Schwechat (VIE) Airport
Buses to Bratislava depart at 30 to 60-minute intervals straight from the airport.
( flixbus.com. , slovaklines.sk, regiojet.com )
___________________________________________
You can also consider arrival options in the Czech city of Brno, from where it is easy to reach the Slovak capital by ground transport.
✈️3. Letiště Brno-Tuřany
Buses or trains to Bratislava.
( flixbus.com., regiojet.com, cd.cz )
___________________________________________
✈️ ℹ️We recommend focusing on Vienna-Schwechat (VIE) Airport.
