BrainHack Kraków 2026 🧠 back after four years
BrainHack Kraków 2026 is a two-day neuroscience event taking place on 7–8 November 2026 at the Institute of Psychology, Jagiellonian University. Students, PhD candidates and researchers from Kraków universities will work together on projects using real neuroscience data. Participation is free of charge.

BrainHack Kraków is a local edition of BrainHack Global, an open, international network of hackathons and meetings on neuroscience, neuroimaging and open science, held in dozens of cities worldwide since 2012. The first Kraków edition took place in 2022. This year, instead of a standard hackathon, the event follows an improved format with two tracks:
1. Beginner track – workshops designed for students of psychology and related fields who want to start from the basics and see what coding can bring to their research. The programme includes introductions to computational neuroscience, medical informatics and computational psychology. No prior experience is required.
2. Advanced track – classic BrainHack workshops focused on healthcare challenges related to neurodegenerative diseases.
The guests – Prof. Daniel Margulies (University of Oxford), Prof. Lune Bellec (Université de Montréal) and Dr Kamil Fuławka (Max Planck Institute) – give the event an international character.
