Brahms & Puts: A Journey to Belief
NYCP’s November program traces a journey from clarity to conviction. Lars-Erik Larsson’s Concertino for Double Bass opens with neoclassical warmth, followed by Kevin Puts’s quietly searching Credo. The evening concludes with Brahms’s Double Concerto, his final orchestral work and one of his most personal statements, performed by violinist Kyung Sun Lee and cellist Clive Greensmith.
