About the author: Bradley Morgan is a media arts professional in Chicago and the author of three books: "U2's The Joshua Tree: Planting Roots in Mythic America;" "U2: Until the End of the World," and "Frank Zappa's America." He manages organizational partnerships on behalf of CHIRP Radio 107.1 FM and is the director of its annual music film festival. He also interviews authors of music and pop culture books for the New Books Network podcast, and also enjoys listening to records with his ginger cat Rusty.
About the interlocutor: Jonathan Massey is a writer, musician, and rehabilitating record store employee. He performs as one-third of the free jazz unit Animal Mother, one-fifth of the renowned slowcore band Prathloons, and on his own recognizance as Silo's Choice. He has attended performances by the band U2 at two of the largest sports arenas in Chicago.
